Every spring the NYCC and UNC Department of Dramatic Art host a brunch at the University Club to honor an established artist with ties to both the New York and the Carolina community.  Past recipients of the John L. Haber (“Habey”) Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts include Lewis Black, Mary Pope Osborne, and Brian Hargrove.
