Annual Alumni Sunset Cruise

Time: Thursday, June 16, 2011  7:00-9:30pm

Location: Pier 84 (12th Avenue and West 44th Street)

We have reserved a double-decker boat with an open bar and three bartenders serving unlimited wine, beer and soda. During cocktails, we will have views of the Statue of Liberty, Manhattan skyline, and the bridges of the East River.

Departure will be from Pier 84, located next to the Intrepid Museum on 12th Avenue and West 44th Street. Please look for signs to locate check-in for the cruise. On October 23rd a team of UNC alumni will be teaming up with UVa and Duke alumns and participating in the 19th Annual New York Cares Day.

We will be joining 8,000 volunteers to revitalize more than 100 New York City public schools. We’ll paint murals and classrooms, add color to school playgrounds, reorganize libraries, and a lot more.

Even if you can’t make it we’d really appreciate it if you showed your support by making a team donation or by sponsoring a participant.

Our goal is to get 35 people and to raise $100 for each volunteer. It is $20 to register and our goal is only $80 more per person after that. It only takes a minute to join our team:
