The only solace that we can take is that the memory of a loss in February is fleeting when compared to the memories of wins in March and April. Carolina Basketball Game Watch Parties - Maryland & Duke!

Fellow Tar Heel,
During his tenure in Chapel Hill, Roy Williams has made a habit of passing milestones: 2 national championships, 2,000 wins, etc. Last night the Heels passed another milestone in recording their 600th ACC win, becoming the only school to have hit the mark. Carolina is not looking to sit on 600 for long though as they enter a key Super Bowl weekend game at Maryland on Saturday. Directly on the Heels of that game, Carolina returns to the Dean Dome looking to extend the longest home winning streak in school history against, who else, Duke! The New York Carolina Club invites you to game watch parties as Carolina takes on Maryland and Duke this week!

Carolina Basketball - ACC Game Watch Parties!

The Tar Heels rebounded nicely against Virginia Tech last week with the perfectionist Roy Williams even calling the 2nd half: the best half of basketball that the team has played all year. Still, the win came at a cost as New Jersey born and raised Dexter Strickland is out for the season with an ACL injury. The Heels will regroup and reload quickly though as they have three ACC games this week. Holiday Carolina Basketball Game Watches!

Fellow Tar Heel,
Roy’s Boys may be taking their exams as we speak, but it has been anything but a quiet week for Carolina athletics. First of all, UNC football will look to move forward under the coaching of Larry Fedora. Coach Fedora has promised that Carolina fans had better “buckle their seat belts” and that it’s going to be a no-huddle aggressive offense in Kenan Stadium for years to come. While the future may be bright for Carolina football, history was made this week by the men’s soccer team as they won their second NCAA title!

The New York Carolina Club has also been busy in setting up a special game watch for the holidays. Come watch the Heels return to the hardwood on Saturday, December 17 and Monday, December 19 as they take on Appalachian State and Nicholls. However, make sure that you take a break from the egg nog and save room for a true holiday treat as the Heels will take on Texas on December 21 and our game watch will include ONE HOUR OF FREE BUD / BUD LIGHT DRAFTS before the game!

UNC Basketball Game Watch Parties: Kentucky & ACC/Big 10 Challenge!

The Heels are entering one of their biggest weeks of the season on the court. Up first the Heels will make Wisconsin go up-tempo as Carolina seeks to do its part to display ACC conference supremacy in the ACC / Big 10 Challenge. On Saturday comes one of the most anticipated non-conference games in years as the Heels will travel to Kentucky to exact revenge for their Elite 8 loss last year in Newark. This year’s matchup has the looks of a preview of the national championship; it cannot be missed.
